Participants will create a beautiful and detailed felted heart using both traditional wet felting and needle felting techniques. Learn how to work with fibers, make felt beads and balls, felt a specific shape using a template, blend fibers and create unique surface designs. These wonderful hearts can hang against a wall, be suspended from the ceiling, hang outside and spin under the trees, or smaller ones may be used to hang from your car mirror, sparkle in a window of your home, or even adorn a gift!
Materials kit to purchased at the shop: $20
Students are encouraged to bring the following
in their favorite complementary colors:
Favorite Yarns
Beads: small, medium and large
Charms may also be of interest
Please also bring:
2 old towels (1 hand, 1 bath)
Scissors
Sponge
Olive Oil soap (or share ours)
